Q: When I create an event, how can I invite or add people as participants that are not registered as users?

For inviting / adding participants who are not registered as users, you will need to set them up as external collaborators. Go to Collaboration > Contacts at the bottom of the page and click on Add external contract. Please note that you can create external contacts linked to a partner or without any link.
